His Plan In Time

Three years ago Nick was looking for a job. Any decent paying job that somewhat utilized his engineering degree. He went on many many interviews, but had a hard time finding one. But we finally ended up with Halliburton in Vernal, Utah. Not exactly high on our wish list, but hey it was a job. One of the jobs he applied for was just north of Salt Lake, we really thought it would be a neat job in a good location, but he ended up not getting it. Just a few weeks ago we found out they laid off over 400 people, many of those were engineers.

Needless to say we see now why God didn't put him in that job. Although Vernal has gotten slightly better over the time we have been here, it's not our ideal place to live. But we are so thankful to have a relatively safe job in this tough economy. It's amazing how God provides what is best for us, not just for the moment for the future also.

Now I just need to remember this as he interviews for a job in place we would actually like to be and we try to start a family... may His timing be our guide.
